Ingredients:
- Flour
- Sugar
- Salt
- Baking powder
- Baking soda
- Buttermilk
- Butter
- Eggs:
Procedures:
- In a big mixing bowl add in the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Mix the dry ingredients thoroughly.
- In other mixing bowl add in the buttermilk, butter and egg yolk. Mix until the yolk is completely mixed in together.
- Pour the wet mixture into dry mixture and fold the batter onto itself. Don't whisk only fold it.
- Now we have the egg whites as well so simply fold it into the lumpy batter and let it rest for 30 mins.
- Take a pan add some butter and scoop 1/4 cup of the batter onto the pan.
- Flip when we see bubbles at the edges of the pancake.
- Cook until both sides are golden brown in color.
- Serve it hot with butter and some maple syrup on it. Enjoy!
