It's only 6:30 AM here and I'm already craving a warm bowl of chili! I'm tired of always making mine the same way though. I'd love to hear your recipes and ideas!
Here's really what I'd like to focus on: * Spices that you use and measurements, etc. I'm very interested in the spice mixtures people make. Help me get out of my chili rut! I'm especially interested in those of you who use cinnamon. * Cost--I'm a recently jobless student and need to be frugal. * Veggie combos. I love it when someone gives me a combo of veggies for chili that I haven't thought of before. * A tangent of the last point: I currently have carrots (and a LOT of them!), mushrooms, bell peppers, tomatoes (fresh and canned), potatoes, corn, black beans, red beans, and pinto beans, just to name a few. How would you suggest adding these to my chili?
