Pardon the Reddit formatting noobishness, but I need a bit of help!
That Imgur link is from the Hawaii Government Employees Association Cookbook, and the duck recipe therein calls for a How Mays Chinese roast duck. My mother says that it was a type of duck that folks in Hawaii used to have to buy from San Fransisco, back in the day... but that was in the 80s!
I want to see if I can recreate it for my mother's 60th birthday, but I can't seem to find a recipe for that specific duck online.
Does anyone happen to have a recipe similar to that style? Better yet, does anyone know if they're still in business? The book was published in the early 80s, so I'm not exactly holding my breath.
