This is what the marinated leg of lamb looks like
The ingredients listed are:
- Salt
- Sugar
- ??Spices??
- Dehydrated Red Bell Pepper
- Dehydrated Garlic
- Dehydrated Onion
- Citric Acid
I bought a a non marinated boneless leg of lamb (5.5 lbs) from Costco yesterday. I plan to marinate the lamb then cut it into 5 pieces. Then I will sous vide the pieces for the meals. Here and here is how I have cooked the premarinated lamb in the past.
To re-create this recipe:
- Does anyone have any advice on how I can recreate the above lamb?
- What is the missing "spices"?
- Can I replace the dehydrated stuff in the list with non dehydrated stuff or are things like dehydrated onion just another term for onion powder?
- And finally, what is the amount I should use of each ingredient?
It doesn't need to match exactly what I got from Costco, but anything I can get close to it would be AMAZING. Thanks for any help!
bon appetit
