Does anyone have a good recipe for some type of savory appetizer or finger food?
I am helping with an event on Saturday that is from 4-9. It runs right through dinner and they are not providing food. Some of us are bringing cookies but I want to bring something that is not a sweet dessert.
Ideally I want something that is easy to grab and go without a plate so dips are out. The event will be outside. Also, not needing refrigerated is a bonus but I do have a cooler so keeping it cold wouldn't be a problem.
The only thing I can think of that fits the bill is those cream cheese deli-meat tortilla roll up things. But those are just so...blah. I am considering something like beer bread but I am worried it will just be cold and dry, not warmed up with no butter or anything.
