How can I rescue this pasta dish? (Aka mush)

I had a bunch of veggies and ground beef to use up so I decided to cook it all up into one big pasta dish. It was all looking good but then I had the genius idea to cook the pasta in the sauce instead of separately, and it thickened it up way more than I expected and made the whole thing kind of mushy and starchy. My baby loved it but everyone else couldn’t get past the texture.

So now I have a pot of mushy spaghetti with ground beef, mushrooms, onions, yellow peppers, carrots, garlic, basil and Italian spices, tomato sauce and red wine that tastes good but has an awful texture.

Does anyone have any ideas for how I could rescue this into something more appetizing? I was thinking making it into some kind of pie would work but I’m not sure what to use as a crust. It mostly needs a crunch but could also use some moisture. Would really appreciate if anyone can help me not waste all this food!!

Thank you :)

bon appetit
