It’s a delicious dessert of indian state bengal. Kheer Kadam also well known as Mawa or Khoya Kadam & also Raskadam. It is like a variant of Rasgulla.
Ingredients
32 Mini Rasgulla
840 Gm Khoya / Mawa
1/4 Tsp Rose Essence
8 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
Preparations
First we squeeze the Mini Rasgullas to remove excess sugar syrup. Now we great 4 cup Khoya finely then we add the Powdered Sugar. Knead into a smooth dough. Place a non stick frying pan on high heat.
Add the khoya sugar mixture. Saute for 10 minutes. Now transfer to a bowl. Set aside till cool. For How to Prepare Kheer Kadam now we add the Rose Essence. Knead very well. Now divide the mawa /khoya into 32 equal portions. Shape each portion into a cricket ball. Make small hollows in the middle with thumb.
Thin the edges. Place a mini rasgulla in each hollow. Cover it completely with the khoya /mawa. No part of mini rasgulla left exposed. Now we roll once again into cricket ball. Now grind the remaining mawa /khoya to a powder then roll each balls in the powdered in it. Store in refrigerator for 5 hours. Dessert is ready to eat or serve.
