I don't want to buy premade Maraschino Cherries anymore because of how bad they are, and I can't get my hands on any Maraschino liquor as I'm not 21 yet. I was wondering if anyone had a good substitute, or if I could make cherry syrup by boiling down the cherries with sugar.
