Ingredients
- 1 14 oz can of black-eyed peas (drained)
- 1 15.5 oz can of white hominy (drained)
- 2 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped
- 8 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 medium green pepper, finely chopped
- 1/2 cu chopped onion
- 1/4 to 1/3 chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 cu picante sauce
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely diced
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve alone or with tortilla chips for dipping.
