Ingredients: For the glaze: 1/2 cup honey (more to taste), 4 cloves of garlic (minced), 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1/4 cup water For pork chops: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 2 large eggs, beaten 4 tablespoons water 6-9 Pork Chops (not to thick, can use boneless pork lion) Salt/pepper to taste 1 cup vegetable oil, for frying Green onions, sliced
Instructions: Glaze: In a medium saucepan over medium high heat, combine honey, Garlic and soy sauce. In a small bowl combine cornstarch and water. Stir mixture into saucepan until thickened, about 1-2 min. Then set aside. Pork Chops: In a bowl combine flour and seasoning. Whisk eggs and 4 tablespoons of water together in a separate bowl. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet to a medium temp. Dip the Pork Chops in flour, then into egg mixture, then back into flour mixture, make sure to have plenty of flour coating on Pork Chops. Place into heated oil, cook into golden brown on both sides, about 5-6 min on each side. Place into paper towel lined plate to get excess oil. Place cooked pork Chops into a dish, pour warm glaze over the pork Chops, top with green onion. Serve with any side you choose!
