In charge of making dessert for Thanksgiving and wanted to try and stray from the typical pumpkin or cranberry dessert. I was thinking of doing something lighter with apple cider, like a Swiss roll or trifle, but have been having trouble finding recipes. If I can't find one, is my best bet to use a spice cake recipe, incorporate a little cider into the batter, and then use it predominately in the filling?
