I was a kid a traveled with my great grandparents to my aunts house . I remember she made this bean recipe that im pretty sure was soaked in soy sauce, and you had to pop out the beans by hand or with your mouth. You couldnt eat the outside like a green bean im pretty sure.
they passed away about 10 years ago so i cant ask them. Something randomly made me think of it tonight.
