Turkey Ham with Olives

I would like to suggest to do something little bit different to surprise your guests. You can make great cold turkey ham using ham maker something like this: http://ift.tt/2gqEZPH

INGREDIENTS:

2 lb turkey breast

2 tsp salt

1 tsp paprika

2 tsp basil

2 tsp gelatine

½ tsp black pepper

1 minced garlic clove

1 tsp honey

1/2 cup water

½ cup green or/and black olives

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Wash and cut turkey breast into square pieces

  2. Mix seasonings with meat and water

  3. Add olives and mix

  4. Place into ham maker and close ham maker properly.

  5. Marinate for 24-48 hours by keeping it in fridge

  6. Place ham maker into a pot, pour water into the pot.

The amount of water supposed to be at the same level or higher than meat.

  1. Cook for 2 hours in water temp 185 F (85 C)

  2. Remove the ham maker from water, cool it in cold water and refrigerate for few hours or leave it for the night.

  3. Pour hot water for few second on ham maker chamber to remove meat easily.

I have done it and have to admit taste very deliciously. A good part of this is that you can actually modify recipe the way you like and have great additional dish for Thanksgiving dish.
