Lava Cakes better with eggs or not?

I want to make a chocolate lava cake similar to that from domino's. I found some recipes without an egg and found another with an egg. I don't know much about deserts so how would egg change the taste?

I love lava cakes from pizza companies, so similar is better. So should i make it with egg or not?
