I am a American expat in Europe. My local grocery store has campbell's tomato soup, but I think I can make it better.
- 1 can (in Germany we got um in boxes) of diced tomatoes.
- 1 can of tomato puree
- 1 onion
- 1 stalk of celery
- about 4 Tbsp. of brown suga
- half cup of cream
- half cup of creme fraiche
- healthy shakes of parsley, basil, S & P
- Dice yo onion, chop yo celery.
- Stir in yo tomater fixings
- Get it hot. Then take a beef broth of bouillion dump on that ish.
- Add Brown suga to combat the acidity. I used the brown stuff cause I wanted to get sassy
- Add basil (i like to add lots 'o that bidnis), S & P (i go heavy on the P). Get your cream mixed into it.
- Parsley to garnish. Best served on a rainy day with some grilled cheese.
If you don't include the sammich, you might only feed two adults. Add the gooey goodness and I bet you could feed a family of four.
