Paprika Cream Chicken

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast (I used 3 breast cut up into cube shape)
  • 1 whole onion finely chopped
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 4 tsp cayenne powder
  • 8 tbsp olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 3 good sized bell peppers (I used 1 green, 1 red, 1 yellow)
  • 11 oz heavy whipping cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped

Cooking

  1. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the onions, peppers, curry powder, cayenne, olive oil, half the cream, garlic, chicken and marinate for at least 2 hours.
  2. Pour the bowl into a large pot and braise the mixture.
  3. add in the rest of the cream and mix and let simmer for 15 - 20 minutes. before serving, add the salt/pepper to your liking.
  4. Dish up and serve. Goes great with egg noodles and salad or french bread and sauteed vegetables or also some kind of potato dumpling; i.e. gnocchi or spaetzle.
