How To Make Spicy Pointed Gourd Curry in an Easy way

Ingredients Required

We are making the Pointed Gourd with very minimum requirement. Here is the whole list of ingredients.

For Masala

Two Onions One Garlic 1inch piece of Ginger 1 teaspoon of Chilli powder 1 teaspoon of Kashmiri chilli powder 1 teaspoon of Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon of Garam masala powder 2 teaspoon of salt 1and 1/2 teaspoons Of sugar For Preparation Of Curry

250 grams of Pointed gourd or Parwal. 4-5 medium sized potato. 250ml of refined oil for frying 4-5 teaspoon Musterd oil for making the curry Making Summary

Preparing The vegetables

Wash and cut the potato and Pointed gourd into desired size. Heat the pan and add the potato and deep fry it till it become brown. Now add the pointed gourd and deep fry it. Make a paste of onion, garlic and ginger. Heat the pan add 4-5 teaspoons of mustard oil into it. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar into it. Now add the onion, ginger and garlic paste into it. Stir fry it Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of chilli powder, 1 teaspoon of Kashmri chilli powder, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon of Garama masala powder. Add 1/2 teaspoon of sugar into it. Add little or 1/4th cup of water. Add the vegetables into it. Add 1 teaspoon of salt. Add 1/2 cup of water. Cook it for some time.

Step by Step Procedure Of Pointed Gourd Curry

First we will take the vegetables, onions, garlic and ginger.like 250 grams of pointed gourd and 4-5 potatoes and wash them.

PREPARATION

Then cut the pointed gourd and potatoes into desired size. Grind the onio, ginger and garlic and make paste of it.

Heat the pan and add 250gm of refined oil and fry the potato. When they become brown remove them from oil.

Add the pointed gourds into the oil and fry it till it become brown and then remove.

Now again heat the pan and add 4-5 teaspoons of mustard or refiend oil into it. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar into the oil for colour. Now add the onion-ginger-garlic patste into the oil. Stir and cook it.

now add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of chilli powder, 1 teaspoon of Kashmri chilli powder, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon of Garama masala powder into the masala. Stir and mix them properly.

Add 1 teaspoon of sugar into it for better taste. Mix it well. Now add little water and stir it. Cook the masal well, so that the smell of onion will disappear.

Now add the fried vegetables and mix it well.

Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 cup of water and cook it for 10 mins. When the water startrs to boil switch off the gas.

Now the curry is ready. You can serve.
