I have never had a proper thanksgiving dinner and this year I am determined to make it happen. I have selected a recipe for everything I am making, except the bird. I have asked my friends and gotten vague and often contradicting and confusing advice such as letting the bird come to room temp but keeping the breasts covered with an ice pack, and other such. Can reddit give me simple advice or a basic recipe for a moist turkey? Thanks in advance.
