Amazing chocolate chip recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups of bread flour

1 tsp of baking soda

1 1/2 cup of sugar

1 1/2 American Tbs of dark brown sugar

1 egg + 1 egg yolk

2 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

1 cup of butter, browned

4-6 oz of a semi sweet chocolate bar, roughly chopped (Godiva chocolate bars taste the best)

4-6 oz of a 70% dark chocolate bar, roughly chopped (if you can’t get chocolate bars, just use 8-12 oz of chocolate chips)

Instructions:

1: In a saucepan, melt your butter until it starts to turn brown while constantly stirring. Once it just starts to turn brown take it off the heat and keep stirring for another minute. Add in 5-10 ice cubes in the butter to help cool it and bring some liquid that it lost back. Pour the butter into a bowl that holds at least 1 cup

2: chop the 2 chocolate bars roughly

3: In a medium, put in your bread flour and baking soda. Whisk until combined.

4: In a large bowl, put in your white sugar and dark brown sugar, and whisk quickly so that brown sugar is throughout the white sugar.

5: add in the egg and egg yolk. Whist until combined. Then, add in the vanilla extract and mix.

6: pour in your brown butter and mix until fully combined.

7: Put in half of the flour and baking soda mixture and fold in with a rubber spatula until almost combined. Add in the rest of the flour and fold until fully combined.

8: pour in the chocolate chunk (or chips of your using that) and fold in until completely combined

9: using an American tbs, scoop out the dough and roll into balls and place on baking sheets that are lined with parchment paper.

10: bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-13 minutes.

bon appetit
