I have come up with the perfect way to cook a steak; it comes out absolutely amazing.

I wanted to share this with you guys. I've tried so many different things and this worked so well. I cook mine on an outdoor/portable stove to not stink up our house, but you can use the stovetop too.

Here's what you'll need:

Ribeye Steak(s)
One tablespoon of butter
Olive Oil
Salt
Skillet

Remove ribeye(s) from packaging. Allow to sit on counter for one hour to reach room temperature. After thirty minutes, pre-heat your oven to 500 degrees. Place a skillet inside the oven and allow it to heat up. Once you've reached the one hour of your steak sitting out, coat it with olive oil and salt. That's all - nothing else - let the meat speak for itself.

Carefully remove the hot skillet from the oven and place on stovetop, on medium.

Cook steak 3 minutes. Flip. Cook steak 2 minutes. Drop one dollop of butter into the skillet. Cook 1 more minute. (or until internal temperature of 135).

Remove steak from skillet and allow to sit out for ten minutes for the steak to absorb it's juices. DO NOT CUT INTO THE STEAK FOR TEN MINUTES!!

Serve and enjoy.

This recipe is for medium rare.

Comes out absolutely delicious. I'm cooking this again tonight and will share some pics.
