On an accidental road trip through upstate NY I encountered a bbq joint in Lewiston called Brickyard Pub. I'm a Southern girl and was stressed out so I stopped there for dinner. The bbq was good, not remarkable. But the cornbread... oh... it was sweet and thick and so moist it was almost a pudding. It didn't have any creamed corn in it, just plain cornbread. I haven't been able to replicate it. Any help would be very much appreciated.
