I acquired two lake trout and after gutting and filleting them, I have about 20lbs of meat. I am away for work and I go home in a month. I can't take it with me since its a few day trip home without a cooler, and there will be nobody here at the end of the season to give it to.
I ate a massive steak of trout last night. This morning I am still full and the thought of eating more trout is quite unappealing.
I am looking for any possible ideas on how I can get through 20lbs of this stuff without eating massive fillets every time.
Some sort of salad maybe? Something to keep it interesting
