[RECIPE QUESTION] Hong Kong Cantonese Curry Puff - Dim Sum

Just wanted to clarify something for those who know this recipe (and the variations of course). All of them call for curry powder AND turmeric & cumin powder. From my understanding all curry powders sold in stores (Asian or American) already have turmeric and cumin blended into them. Is there such thing as a 'pure' or straight 'curry' powder sans turmeric & cumin that these recipes are referring to?
