I cook a lot for my boyfriend and I, however I'm getting into a cooking rut. My main dinners are the following:
-Spaghetti -Burgers -Homemade Tuna Helper -Pork Chops -Tacos -Grilled Chicken/Steak -Enchiladas
And that's about it. Some I make sides for others I don't. I've made Homemade chili once, it came out alright but I felt like it was missing something. I would like to try fish but last time I made it, it seemed bland and I always have trouble getting a good flavor in my fish. I've wanted to try cabbage rolls and stuffed bell peppers, but alas have trouble finding a trustworthy recipe. Also, what staple recipes can I do with chicken? It's not my favorite but it's relatively cheap compared to beef or pork, however other than the Enchiladas, or grilling it, I come up empty. He is not a fan of alfredo sauce or I would have made chicken alfredo already. He also doesn't like Mac n cheese. I would love to try stir fry as he LOVES Chinese food but I have no idea where to start.
Anything that can be made on a budget, not too complicated, and can't be messed up too easily would be great. I'm not an expert when it comes to cooking by any means! I just make sure to season and taste as I go, and do a lot of looking up cooking techniques. I just want to broaden the list of meals I can make because I know we both are getting tired of the same ol thing every week. Please and thank you!!
bon appetit
