Apparently they're not as popular as I thought. In Canada so many restaurants have an appetizer called "dry ribs" they're small ribs, or pork loin cut into cubs, seasoned and deep fried. I've found two recipes: One that includes using 4lbs of "sweet and sour ribs" with no recipe for the "sweet and sour" ribs, or what kind of sweet and sour ribs. Seems the recipe could end up garbage if the first part isn't right. The second recipe included using 3lbs of lard to cook the ribs. 3lbs of lard! I can't justify buying that much lard for a few pounds of ribs.
Does anyone have a food recipe, or pointers on how I might make my own? Does anyone out there even know what I'm looking for?
