Chicken breast marination

Hey all,

I'm trying to bulk on a new gym routine and I have done this before so I know I am going to be eating a lot of chicken breast.

Usually, I just put it in a pot or sometimes bake it as is, add rice and hot sauce. Or put it in a chicken cease salad.

I am looking to just add some flavour to the chicken so that I can change it from week to week. Maybe like a teriyaki/honey 1 week, then a montreal steak spice, then some other concoction I'm not sure.

I am not sure how long it needs to sit in the marinade, and how to make one to be honest. I tried my hand at a quick homemade honey marinade on saturday but it failed since it didn't sit long enough and then I barbecued it which probably took a lot of the flavour out.

any suggestions would be appreciated.
