First Thanksgiving without Mom the Cook is coming up, help me make it bearable for the family?

My mom, who cooked for thanksgiving and christmas, passed away very suddenly in april, which has left my tiny remaining family reluctant to do any major holiday festivities. However, since I fucking love eating and am determined to become self-sustainable, I wish to cook the meal this year so they can at least get through the holiday depression mourning stage somewhat easier. BUT I don't know how to cook what where, when, or how.

Which is why I turn to you, reddit. Give me your tips, tricks, recipes, know how, cooking acumen, and every traditional fixing this god forsaken holiday has to offer.

bon appetit
