If your family has a sweet tooth and you're on a budget this is perfect.
Ingredients (Yields 50):
100 gram Cake Flour 1 tablespoon granulated sugar a pinch of salt 2 tablespoons of butter 2 tablespoons of milk Chocolate of your choice Sprinkles or nuts of your choice Parchment paper Cling wrap
Method
Mix the dry ingredients, flour, sugar and the salt together in a bowl. Crumble in the butter by hand into the flour Mix with your hands until it is combined Add milk Mix again till well combined. Your dough will be a bit crumbly at this point. Don't panic. Transfer the dough to a piece of cling wrap Place the dough once its wrapped into the fridge for 30 minutes When the dough has chilled for 30 minutes preheat your oven to 170 degrees Celsius. Place the dough between two pieces of cling wrap and roll it out using your rolling pin. trim off the edges to form a rectangle Cut the dough into thin strips and place onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. If you don't have parchment paper you can always just lightly grease the baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes Let the biscuits cool completely. Melt chocolate carefully. Once the chocolate is melted carefully dip the biscuits into it until it is covered then decorate with nuts or sprinkles place in the fridge until you need to serve it.
