Pomegranate Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 pint of pure 100% pomegranate juice
  • 1/4 cup of cane sugar
  • 3 tsp honey

Cooking

  1. in a large sauce pan/pot, pour in the pomegranate juice and the sugar. bring to a boil while constantly stirring. let boil for a minute or two, stir in the honey.
  2. bring heat down and let simmer, while stirring from time to time. cover and let simmer for 10 - 15 minutes. after the 10 - 15 minutes, stir for another minute or so and remove from heat and let cool. it's not going to have its syrup property until it has cooled down enough, so place in the fridge for a few hours prior to using it for syrup.
