Right now is bulking season, but I don't want to dirty-bulk (eat unhealthy foods to achieve a caloric surplus and gain weight). I want to do it healthily, both for the sake of it and because I have slightly-higher than normal cholesterol. Enough not to pose a serious threat, but not enough to scoff at. Spring is cutting season (When I'm going to cut all the weight), but until then I'm bulking and turning the weight into muscle.
For my lunch, I consistently eat 2 mortadella sandwiches with french bread, mayonnaise, and cheese. I want to get a vegetable or fruit based sandwich spread recipe that would go well with such a sandwich, does anyone know of one?
Next, I'm a graze eater- in the sense that I eat a lot of snacks throughout the day. It's usually unhealthy food, which I want to fix. One of my ideas was to get a dip recipe that I could dip vegetables in and eat that. Except, there are two requirements for such a dip.
I need the main ingredient to be cheese (Or, an important ingredient but not he main), but I don't want it to be simply cheese dip (I hate normal cheese dip). The reason is because I just like cheese, and because I need it to have higher calories than normal.
Another requirement is that it is flavourful enough that you basically barely taste the vegetable.
Thanks to any kind fellow who is able to help!
bon appetit
