I've cooked my fair share of chickens, and usually I roast one approximately 5lb chicken in about an hour and 10-15 minutes.
I wanted to know if anyone has some recipes though where I can prep my chicken, throw it in the oven and it pretty much being fine other than possibly being basted by my cooking challenged roommate for about 2 and half- 3 hours.
Is an even 300 Fahrenheit decent or two low, and can cause it to become spoiled?
