Grandma Catherine's Persimmon Pudding

This recipe was requested in Askreddit so I am also putting it here.

Set oven to 375. Butter and sugar a 9x13 pan.

2 cups flour (sifted), 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 TBL baking powder, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 1/2 cups buttermilk, 4 eggs (beaten), 1 stick butter (melted), 2 cups persimmon pulp

Mix 1st six ingredients in separate bowl, Mix together the eggs, melted butter and persimmon pulp. Add dry ingredients and buttermilk alternately. Pour into 9×13 and bake for 45 to 60 minutes.

It is exceptional enjoyed warm topped with whipped cream, hard sauce or vanilla ice cream.
