I am European and as such my limited knowledge about thanksgiving comes from tv shows. My girlfrind thought it could be fun to have some friends over for thanksgiving dinner anyway and now I found myself having to cook dinner for 9 persons.
I believe I got the turkey recipe selected. I plan to follow Alton Browns recipe and serve mashed potatoes and Alton Browns gravy with it.
From what I understand turkey stuffing or since that is apparently a bad idea turkey dressing also belongs.
I'd anyone has a one that is foolproof and doesn't use any specialty items that I will be unable to find here in Europe I'd really appreciate it. I've never tasted turkey dressing or stuffing so the more simple and foolproof the better :)
