I have noticed many different cuisines being represented, and would like to start a thread where we address questions about ALL cuisines.
Like major dishes /flavor spice profiles from a specific region or country.
Your Oma, abuela, babyshka, Nona or nana, used to make this odd dish from her home country and you just can't remember the name!!
My roots are ex soviet with some eastern european jewish and Yugoslavia thrown in. Pretty knowledgeable of food from the central asian states, Turkey, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova.Feel free to pick my brain!
