South Indian style vada, a perfect evening snack.

INGREDIENTS:

Serves 6 portions

  • 100g Dry Moringa Leaf or powder (Optional)

  • 100g Channa dal

  • 50g Toovar dal

  • 50g Moong dal

  • 100g Shallots

  • 10g Red chilly

  • 50g Ginger

  • 50g Curry Leaf

  • 20g Green chillies

  • Salt to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Soak both the dals and red chilly together for an hour.

  2. Crush in a blender.

  3. Add chopped shallots, ginger, curry leaf and green chilly to the crushed dals.

  4. Shape into roundels and deep fry in hot oil. Serve with chutney of your choice.
