Simple Indian style carrot and potato vegetable, generally not found in restaurants

Ingredients

  • 200 Gram carrots cut into small pieces
  • 2 Big Potatoes cut into small pieces
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Mustard seeds, can be substituted with cumin seeds
  • 1/2 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Coriander leaves(Cilantro), Chopped

Instructions

  • In a pan add oil, heat it well than add mustard seeds, than add cut carrot and potatoes.
  • Sauté it well for sometime.
  • Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilly powder
  • Sauté it well till it is cooked well (don't cover it)
  • Once cooked well, garnish with coriander leaves(cilantro).
