Steak Fingers and Gravy Recipe

Dry dredge

2 c flour 2 tbs chili powder 2 tbs onion powder 2 tbs garlic powder Wet blend

milk egg(s) Cut cube steak into finger-sized pieces.

Mix dry ingredients together.

Whisk wet ingredients in a separate bowl. I use a 1:1 ratio. 1 egg to 1 c of milk – will vary depending on how much steak you’re making.

Dredge steak in flour mixture. Coat in wet ingredients. Dredge in flour mixture again. Use the ‘wet-hand-dry-hand’ technique unless you don’t mind getting a case of dough fingers from using the same hand. Fry in your preferred oil until golden brown.
