Pigs in Blankets

Ingredients for the bread:

  • 500 g flour
  • 10 g fresh yeast
  • 300 ml warm water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 4-5 pairs of mini wiener sausages

Directions:

  1. Crumble the yeast and put it into the warm water.
  2. Add salt and sugar.
  3. Pour the yeast mixture into a bowl with flour.
  4. Knead everything together.
  5. Dust the bowl and the dough with flour, so the dough will not stick to the bowl.
  6. Leave the dough in the fridge for about 10 hours.
  7. Separate 4-5 pairs of mini sausages.
  8. Cut the dough into as many pieces as you need for your sausages.
  9. Wrap the dough around the sausages.
  10. Bake it in the preheated oven at 230°C top and bottom heat for about 30 minutes.

Note:

This also works fine for 2-3 pairs of normal sized sausages.
