There's a local mexican restaurant that has what they call "special salsa". It is definitely the best salsa I've ever had. It tastes very fresh and would love to be able to recreate it. My most recent attempt was close but still missing something.
Restaurant-clearly tomato, onion, cilantro, spicy, something "pungent"
Homemade- mostly tomato flavor and spicy..OVERALL FAIRLY SIMILAR, but missing something; also noticed water seems to separate more
I was just curious if anyone could tell from a picture what might be different, or have suggestions
