Hello r/recipes! I'm looking for a salsa recipe that does well with canning, but I have one key dietary restriction: I'm allergic to peppers.
I would just nix the peppers in a typical recipe, but I'm worried about having a bland salsa.
Most of the ingredients that I have are from my garden, however having never made salsa before I'd love some suggestions on additional items that would really shine flavour-wise.
Current ingredients: Tomatoes, Cucumber, Red onion, Sweet basil (fresh and dried), Oregano (fresh and dried)
