I'm having my friends over for dinner when they are visiting. They are from England and I was hoping to serve something kind of easy to make but is very delicious. The only thing I know I want to serve is boozy English Trifle for dessert. I'm still lost on what to do for an appetizer and the main course. I was playing with the idea of trying to do an American dish for the main course because of the English Trifle for dessert. But I wasn't sure. Any help and ideas will be wonderful.
