Help finding recipes for veggies, for someone who eats mostly meat.

I just found out from my doctor that I'm well on my to having a heart attack if I don't get my cholesterol down. So in addition to medication he's recommended I get more green veggies in my diet.

My problem? Everything I try tastes like grass. I can barely choke it down. Food is a massive part of my life, and if I can't enjoy it I don't know what I'll do. Can any of you fine people share some recipes to help me make the transition from burgers to salads.
