Recipe Of The Month: Spicy Asian Grilled Prawns

I just LOVE shrimps. Came across this recipe the other day and it's just sensational and super easy to make.

1 Kilo Prawns 100mm piece of fresh ginger root 4 tablespoons raw honey 8 cloves of fresh garlic 6 tablespoons rice wine vinegar 4 tablespoons Tamari soy sauce 8 tablespoon sesame oil 8 fresh mint leaves 2 teaspoon Sriracha – hot chilli sauce

  1. Wash the shrimps, peel and de-vein.
  2. Mix everything except the shrimps in a blender until smooth.
  3. Pour ¾ of the mixture in a bowl and toss in your shrimps and anything else you want to marinade – (I put them in the fridge overnight)
  4. Slide shrimps on to a skewer.
  5. Grill in a very hot skillet for 1-2 minutes and plate up 
  6. Garnish with shredded mint leaves DELICIOUS!
