So, my boyfriend is from SoCal, and living in NYC it's astoundingly difficult to impossible to find good Mexican. So I thought it would be a nice surprise as he's gearing up for his exams to make him some good homemade authentic Mexican. Problem: I have literally no idea how to discern shitty/inauthentic from not-shitty/maybe more authentic based on just Google. So I thought Reddit might be able to help? I have no idea if I'm in the wrong place, so sorry if I am!
