A little help with my beans?

Hey everyone, so I need a little help with my beans. I have had dried brazilian beans boiling with leftover pork bones that had some meat left on for 2 hours then I threw a whole red pepper, some garlic minced ,2 tsp of chili powder and some salt, pepper onion powder an let it simmer for 2 more hours.

They have some good flavor but I have no idea what to do to make it taste better and thicker? It's still a bit watery. Thank you for staying long enough to read this :(
