So I've made regular chicken broth/stock in the past and liked it just fine but found myself kind of bored with it over time. The other day though I changed up my recipe and ditched the usual vegetables for garlic, ginger, scallions and serrano peppers and I'm totally in love all over again. I've literally been drinking the broth straight without making it into soups or anything.
But I'm looking to make some more stock tonight now, and I was wondering if anyone here had other variations or unique styles of chicken, beef or or pork broth that I could possibly try out as another change of pace. So, what's everyone's favorite 'off-the-beaten path' broth recipe?
bon appetit
