Hey folks! I live on my own and love cooking, but I'm trying to lay off the heavy stuff. My beautiful mother visited this weekend and - as much as she encourages me to lose weight - left an ENTIRE CHOCOLATE CAKE at my house.
I'm a beer away from drunkenly deciding to stick a fork in this thing. However, an idea sparked and I thought of some nice people who might enjoy some baked goods (I thought it'd be nicer to make something than to just take a whole cake to an office).
Anywho, could anyone provide one or a couple of recipes/links for cookies or other individual snacks that I can make with this cake? I saw a few ideas online, but I'm not so convinced that I wanna make cake pops or deep fried pieces of cake. Also, nice presentation isn't necessary. Any help is much appreciated!
I'm used to making breads, cookies, and more complicated stuff too, so challenges are welcome. I'll also provide pics of results if I'm competent enough to make some of your recommendations.
Thanks for your help, folks!
tl;dr - I have an entire chocolate cake and want to make baked goods with said cake. Please provide a recipe/link or two! Thanks!
bon appetit
