RECIPE
Makes: 6 servings
Ingredients you will need:
Chocolate chip cookies – 300g (1 pack) Mascarpone cream cheese - 475g or 2 packs regular cream cheese (at room temperature) Condensed milk - ¼ cup (or to your taste) Chocolate chips – 100g
Tools you will need:
6 x mini mason jars (I used 250ml jars) 1 x large ziplock bag to crush cookies 1 x large ziplock bag to pipe the cream cheese filling (or a piping bag) Large bowl Rolling pin Spatula Measuring cup
-
In a large bowl, mix together the mascarpone cream cheese and condensed milk until you get a smooth consistency. Fold in ¾ of the chocolate chips into the cream cheese mixture. Reserve the rest for garnish.
-
Take a large ziplock bag and place the cookies in, and crush them into crumbs using a rolling pin. Leave crumbs to the side for assembling later on.
-
Place the cream cheese mixture into the ziplock bag (or piping bag), squeezing it to one of the bottom corners. Then cut the tip to pipe the cream cheese in the next step.
-
Get the mason jars ready to assemble your dessert. Place crumbs at the bottom and then add in a layer of cream cheese using a ziplock bag or piping bag as shown. And repeat this step one more time. Top with the remaining chocolate chips and refrigerate for at least an hour.
Enjoy!
bon appetit
