Today we will prepare simple but very tasty and flavorful apple cake with nuts. The recipe resembes charlotte a bit, but because of nuts and caramel the taste is different. I used walnuts for this recipe, but they can also be replaced with pecans or almonds. For the caramel to turn out darker, replace regular sugar with brown one.
Ingredients
Ingredients for the dough:
- eggs - 3 PCs.;
- wheat flour - 2,5 cup;
- refined sunflower oil - 250 ml;
- sugar - 1 tbsp.;
- shelled walnuts - 150 g;
- green apples - 3 PCs. of small size;
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp.;
- baking powder for test - 1 tsp;
- vanilla - a pinch;
- salt on the tip of a knife.
Ingredients for caramel:
- sugar - 1 tbsp.;
- butter - 50 g;
- milk - 70 ml;
- vanilla - a pinch.
