Recipe From- http://ift.tt/1Ezt5K2
-16 ounces of Oreo Cookies (1 family size package) -4 tablespoons Butter (melted) -24 ounces cream cheese (3 standard sizes packages) -3/4 cups granulated sugar -3/4 cups sour cream (at room temperature) -1 Teaspoon vanilla extract -1/2 teaspoon salt -3 large eggs (at room temperature)
Preparation: 1. Preheat the oven to 325. Spray a 9×13 pan with nonstick cooking spray. I used a 9×9 pan and it ended up being a little small.
To Make The Crust: 1. Place 28 Oreo cooking into a food processor, and process until finely ground. If you don’t have a food processor a Ziploc bag works just as well.
-
Pour into a large bowl, and mix with the melted butter.
-
Place the mixture into your pan. Use your fingers to firmly and evenly spread the mixture into the bottom of the pan.
-
Bake the crust for 10 minutes. Let the crust cool before adding the filling.
To Make The Filling: 1. Use an electric mixture to beat the sugar and cream cheese (approximately 3 minutes.)
-
Add in the salt, vanilla, sour cream, and eggs mixing between each ingredient.
-
Break up the remaining Oreos and add them to the mixture.
-
Pour the mixture onto the crust and bake for an additional 38-40 minutes. As you can see I burnt mine a bit, so make sure you watch it towards the end.
-
Refrigerate the cake overnight before eating.
bon appetit
