Oreo Cheesecake Bars Recipe

Recipe From- http://ift.tt/1Ezt5K2

-16 ounces of Oreo Cookies (1 family size package) -4 tablespoons Butter (melted) -24 ounces cream cheese (3 standard sizes packages) -3/4 cups granulated sugar -3/4 cups sour cream (at room temperature) -1 Teaspoon vanilla extract -1/2 teaspoon salt -3 large eggs (at room temperature)

Preparation: 1. Preheat the oven to 325. Spray a 9×13 pan with nonstick cooking spray. I used a 9×9 pan and it ended up being a little small.

To Make The Crust: 1. Place 28 Oreo cooking into a food processor, and process until finely ground. If you don’t have a food processor a Ziploc bag works just as well.

  1. Pour into a large bowl, and mix with the melted butter.

  2. Place the mixture into your pan. Use your fingers to firmly and evenly spread the mixture into the bottom of the pan.

  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes. Let the crust cool before adding the filling.

To Make The Filling: 1. Use an electric mixture to beat the sugar and cream cheese (approximately 3 minutes.)

  1. Add in the salt, vanilla, sour cream, and eggs mixing between each ingredient.

  2. Break up the remaining Oreos and add them to the mixture.

  3. Pour the mixture onto the crust and bake for an additional 38-40 minutes. As you can see I burnt mine a bit, so make sure you watch it towards the end.

  4. Refrigerate the cake overnight before eating.

bon appetit
